Good Morning to one and all, today we are all here on this auspicious occasion of happiness “Children’s Day”, this day is celebrated across the nation on the same day every year on 14th November, to mark the remembrance of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was India’s first prime minister.
Pandit Nehru tremendously loved children very much. Because of this endearment and fondness, children used to call him Chacha Nehru. This day of cheerfulness is celebrated across the nation in various schools and institutions by doing different-different activities.

But this day makes them perceive that kids are the future of the nation and if not properly taken care it can harm the country’s future.
Now I would like to wish all the lovely children present here and on this planet a very happy children’s day from the bottom of my heart. May you all succeed higher in the future and make your family, school and teachers feel proud.
Speech On Childrens Day (300 Words)
Good morning everyone, I welcome you all on this monumental occasion of “Children’s day”. This day commemorates freedom fighter, India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary every year, on the same day on 14th November. Pandit Nehru was so fond of children that children used to call him “Chacha Nehru”. This day is meant to be celebrated as the future of the country.
Children are just like seeds, one day they’ll be going to become a big mature plant, just like seeds. Kids should also be taken care of properly because one day they will become mature and make the future of our country fruitful. Also, there is no age-related to success that can be achieved at any age if you have that level of dedication.
But currently, it can be done by concentrating on studies, giving your 100% to whatever you do. If we want to build the future of our country then we should try to preserve the future of small little kids, by taking care of children staying in slum areas, helping them with studies. This can make a change in the development of the nation.
Children are born like a blank paper, it’s the parents, teachers who should fill it with colors, and take them to the right direction of life. Every parent should recognize their children as the wealth of the nation and help them to succeed higher in the future.
Everyone present on this planet should take care of children like their own for the country’s future.
Today, I would like to wish a very happy and cheerful children’s day to not only the children present here but also to each and everyone on this planet.
Your innocents are going to make the future of the country, so we’ll try to make your present joyous and worthwhile.
Speech On Childrens Day (400 Words)
Hello to everyone gathered here. Today I got this great opportunity to give a speech on this special day. We are here to celebrate the great occasion of “Children’s Day” and the birth anniversary of freedom fighter, our first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
He used to love children a lot. That’s why this day is celebrated every year on 14th November. He was always surrounded by children whether he was in India or abroad. Children also called him Chacha Nehru with affection.
This great occasion is incomplete without our innocent and lovely kids who shower their love for everyone despite all kinds of differences. They are the most innocent soul on this planet with no grudges in heart for anyone. This day shouldn’t be just celebrated in educational institutes but we should also consider underprivileged kids living in slum areas.
Those who don’t have the opportunity to go to school, people should make this day a great initiative by not only fulfilling the needs of their kids but also of children who need it. “Child labor is a crime” is known by everyone but not followed by anyone. Kids’ hands are not meant for washing utensils, cleaning tables, or cooking.
Their hands should only hold pencils and pens for writing the future of our country. By stopping and demoralizing child labor we can help the innocent children to lead a happy and secure life.
This day shouldn’t be treated like any other normal day. It should be considered as the day of awareness about evoking the talent and the future of our country. I believe that every day should be Children’s Day.
This day depicts the relationship of the adult with children like Pandit Nehru used to spend most of his precious time with kids. This is how parents need to understand their kids, what they want, and feel. Children’s day reminds adults to imbibe the qualities of childhood and teach their kids to live on Chacha Nehru’s ideals and principles.
Dear Children, this day is also about respecting others, imbibing sensible values. Parents should also trust their children and give them a chance to prove themselves, show their hidden talent, and allow them to speak out when they want to.
So let us all together with the rising stars, the future leaders of our nation, a very happy children’s day. May you all achieve success at every point of life. Thank you.
