Good morning respected chairman sir, principal ma’am, teachers, and my dear fellow mates. Today we’ve all gathered here to celebrate the auspicious event of Republic day. We celebrate this day every year on 26th January with lots of enthusiasm and emotions because on this day in 1950, the Constitution of India came into effect. This day is announced to be a national holiday.

We all know that our country got freedom from Britishers in 1947 but our country didn’t have its own Constitution. Our country was governed by British rule. This day is remarkable in the history of India. People celebrate it with pride and dignity.

 Good morning to everyone who all have gathered here. Today, we are here to celebrate this auspicious event of Republic Day. It is celebrated every year on 26th January. On this day in 1950, our country’s constitution came into effect. This day is announced to be a national holiday across the nation.

I’m privileged and honoured as I got this opportunity to say a few words on this crucial day. This is a very emotional and important day for every citizen who’s proud to be a part of India. This day reminds us of all the sacrifices made by our strong Indian freedom fighters.

The National Celebration of Republic day takes place at Rajpath in New Delhi. A special parade is organized to pay tribute to the country. The President of India, the prime minister, and all the ministers are invited to watch the parade at Rajpath. A chief guest is also invited every year from a different country. The president of India unfurls the national flag and addresses the country with his honourable speech.

I would like to wish a very happy and cheerful Republic day to all the citizens of India and salute to the soldiers of our country.

 Good morning to all the lovely citizens of India and wish you all a very happy Republic day. Today on this special day I got this great opportunity to say a few words. This day is celebrated every year on the same day on 26th November. On this day in 1950, the constitution of our country came into effect. This day makes us realize the sacrifices made by our country’s freedom fighters.

We are very much fortunate to be a part of this wonderful country. After getting freedom in 1947 also our country didn’t have its constitution. So, after many amendments and contemplation, Dr B.R Ambedkar drafted the Indian Constitution. It was adopted on 26 November 1949 and came into effect on 26th January 1950. Every year on the same day a grand celebration takes place at Rajpath in New Delhi.

A special parade is organized and the President of India, the Prime Minister, the Vice President, and all the ministers are invited to Rajpath. The parade signifies different states, their cultures and creates a feeling of harmony. School children also perform in the parade. The President of India unfurls the tricolour flag of India and addresses the country with a dignified speech.

The award ceremony is conducted, prizes and awards are given to the martyrs and to the people who have done something significant for the nation. Every school, college, and institute celebrate this day by singing patriotic songs, wearing tricolour clothes, organizing different competitions, and making tricolour flags.

Speeches are given everywhere to make people aware of the greatness and significance of our country’s freedom fighters and heroes. All the citizens of India celebrate this day and feel proud to be born in this motherland. On this day, India is covered with the tricolour and looks so elegant and graceful.

Hello to everyone present here. I got this great opportunity of conversing with everyone on this significant day of “Republic Day” celebrated every year on 26th January. On this day the Constitution of our country came into effect in 1950 and since then, every year this is celebrated as Republic day on 26th January. This day is announced as a national festival and national holiday.

The Constitution of India has given us justice, equality, and freedom. After getting freedom also we didn’t have our constitution. The constitution of India makes us feel proud. The father of the constitution of Indian Dr B.R. Ambedkar drafted the Constitution on 26th November 1949 but came into effect in 1950.

On this day the main celebration takes place at Rajpath in New Delhi where the president unfurls the flag of India and a special parade takes place. Every school, colleges, and institutes celebrate this day by singing patriotic songs, wearing tricolour clothes, organizing different competitions, and making tricolour flags. The parade signifies different states, their cultures and creates a feeling of unity.

Flowers are showered through helicopters. The air force pilots of the country with their jets create the tricolour flag in the sky which is goosebumps and a proud moment for all. People of the country sing patriotic songs with a feeling of pride. School children also perform in the parade. This is a very emotional day of pride for every responsible citizen of India.

A chief guest is also invited to the republic day parade from a different country. Awards are also given to the martyr and the warriors of our nation. Our whole country is decorated with tricolour on this day. Flag hoisting is done across the nation in schools, societies, and colleges. This day makes people of our country closer to each other. We are very much fortunate to be a part of this wonderful country.

This day makes us feel dignified and united irrespective of any caste, culture, and religion. The freedom fighters and leaders sacrificed their whole life for the nation so, at least we need to do something significant and remarkable on our behalf for the country.

We should all stand up and take a pledge that we will try to do something for the nation and always stand by the people of our country. I would like to wish you all a very happy and joyous Republic Day. Jai Hind.
